I know what it feels like to start over.
I'm Meisha Anderson, a nutritionist and public health professional who has lived two very different weight loss journeys. I make nutrition feel clear, practical and possible for women who are tired of shame, confusion and plans that fall apart in real life.
Nutrition changed my body. Life changed my method.
The first journey
In 2018 I lost 100 pounds in about nine months. My first 50 came without a gym. I walked, swapped my morning bacon, egg and cheese bagel for a green smoothie and made fruit the easy choice.
The second journey
Then I became a mom. Postpartum depression, heartbreak, emotional eating and hormonal changes met me in my thirties. I regained weight, and began again, losing 85 pounds inside a much fuller life.
What it taught me
The first taught me the power of nutrition. The second taught me compassion and how to build habits for hard days. Both shaped how I teach: with knowledge, warmth and zero ridicule.
“I didn't need more ridicule. I needed a system gentle enough for hard days and strong enough to create change.”

Your health deserves more than another rigid plan.
You are not broken.
Hard seasons don't make you lazy. We can be honest about what needs to change without tearing you down.
Science you can use.
I take the topics that feel overwhelming and explain them so you can understand, decide and act.
Your plan should fit you.
Caribbean food, motherhood, busy weeks and joy all belong in a way of eating you can keep.

Warm, informed and always real.
I'm a toddler mom, a jump rope lover and the person who will always find a way to make Jamaican and Caribbean food both nourishing and satisfying.
- Caribbean and Jamaican recipes, made balanced
- Movement that's actually fun (jump rope, always)
- Toddler-friendly food and motherhood in real time
- Hard messages, delivered with knowledge and love
Trained in science. Raised on Caribbean food.
I earned my B.S. in Biology (pre-med) at the University at Albany and became a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach in 2020. My work in public health taught me that advice only helps if people can actually follow it, at their table, with their budget and their family.
That's why everything I teach starts with the food you already love, and ends with one realistic action.
